Celio Saez charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Celio Saez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Borrissola booed when Cuiña was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celio Saez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Elivareo Rojas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Colsa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 6th minute, Cuiña's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after García Bermudez fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. García Bermudez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elivareo Rojas having to interfere. Elivareo Rojas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Colsa in the 9th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rio Turrilla in the 11th minute of play forced Borrissola's goalkeeper Celedonio Roca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ugaitz Benedicto hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Rio Turrilla's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Celedonio Roca was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. Borrissola's Celedonio Roca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bazil Naranjo in the 17th minute of play. When the match clock showed 18 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Rio Turrilla sped through Borrissola's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Celedonio Roca. When Bao Belalcaraz fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cuiña's protests and gave Bao Belalcaraz a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Cuiña's Bao Belalcaraz got a free kick in the 21st minute. After having played for 25 minutes, Cristian Colsa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Borrissola's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Colsa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Manolito Fernandez fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cuiña's protests and gave Manolito Fernandez a yellow card for diving instead. Manolito Fernandez kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. In the 28th minute, Cristian Colsa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 38th minute Rio Turrilla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celedonio Roca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 39 minutes, Andres Durango mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cuiña and the Borrissola players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 39th minute, Andres Durango hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Elivareo Rojas made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when García Bermudez sent off a good shot on target. Cidro Macho's late challenge caught a Borrissola's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cidro Macho helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Cuiña getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Cidro Macho hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Cuiña's zone, García Bermudez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elivareo Rojas came out of the goal and García Bermudez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cristian Colsa to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Borrissola getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Eleazar Tobia hit a great ball. Cristian Colsa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Elivareo Rojas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 61 minutes into the match, Cuiña's goal looked a bit too open when García Bermudez came free, but Elivareo Rojas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 63 minutes into the game, Bazil Naranjo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Celedonio Roca was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 71st minute, one of Cuiña:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Cuiña. The referee gave Borrissola a penalty, 74 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Enaut Jaen, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Cuiña's Elivareo Rojas. 1-2. In the 77th minute, Andres Durango hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristian Colsa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elivareo Rojas having to interfere. After 89 minutes of play, Borrissola's García Bermudez made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Elivareo Rojas was left in no man's land by his defense there! García Bermudez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elivareo Rojas having to interfere. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
