Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Humberto Abellan kicked off to start the match. After some careless play in the Bénez F.C. defense, Tauro Escobar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Antoni Amorebieta. The Bénez F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Antoni Amorebieta should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Bénez F.C.'s Cordareo Silva got a free kick in the 11th minute. In the 13th minute Berto Candela shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antoni Amorebieta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tauro Escobar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Antoni Amorebieta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 18th minute of the match Julián Olle shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Antoni Amorebieta showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 20 minutes into the game, Cordario Serena was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. As Somozas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bénez F.C. the free kick. After a rather tough play, As Somozas's Cordario Serena got a free kick in the 20th minute. In the 22nd minute Oriche Orbiz managed to get in a great position but fired away a sharp shot that went outside the goal on the goalie's right hand side. It could just as well have been a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Hanot Teruel managed to get in a good position for a shot. As Somozas's supporters rose to their feet, but Hanot Teruel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Antoni Amorebieta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jaime Reina got free with Lucas Cacheres in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A hard shot 32 in the game by Jaime Reina from a close distance when the talented Lucas Cacheres managed to make a qualified save. As Somozas's players were relieved. Humberto Abellan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 36 minutes into the game, Víctor Japón was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bénez F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave As Somozas the free kick. After 36 played minutes Bénez F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Víctor Japón. Bénez F.C.'s Antoni Amorebieta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Berto Candela in the 37th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tauro Escobar in the 39th minute of play forced Bénez F.C.'s goalkeeper Antoni Amorebieta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Berto Candela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Antoni Amorebieta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tauro Escobar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Antoni Amorebieta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tauro Escobar in the 44th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in As Somozas's zone, Humberto Abellan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lucas Cacheres came out of the goal and Humberto Abellan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Lucas Cacheres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Humberto Abellan in the 56th minute of play. Lucas Cacheres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaime Reina, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. When Jaime Reina came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Bénez F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jaime Reina couldn't finish the play. Tauro Escobar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Antoni Amorebieta made a huge save. When the match clock showed 67 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Berto Candela sped through Bénez F.C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Antoni Amorebieta. In the 69th match minute, Bénez F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Humberto Abellan to maneuver through the defense. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind As Somozas's goalkeeper Lucas Cacheres, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lucas Cacheres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaime Reina in the 78th minute of play.
