Zadornin Buendia struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Mino Calvo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tomiño. In the 12th minute Basilio Harroyo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mino Calvo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Zadornin Buendia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zaquiel Teresa kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. After 16 played minutes Tomiño got a freekick which was hit by Rigoberto Huguet. The audience was convinced that Basilio Harroyo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mino Calvo was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. Mino Calvo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Basilio Harroyo in the 24th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Tomiño's Cerilo Rosas broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. Zadornin Buendia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mino Calvo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. The Jimena F.C players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Tomiño were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zaquiel Teresa to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Zadornin Buendia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tomiño's supporters rose to their feet, but Zadornin Buendia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mino Calvo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Basilio Harroyo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Mino Calvo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Kevin Moreira fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tomiño's protests and gave Kevin Moreira a yellow card for diving instead. After 57 played minutes Tomiño got a freekick which was hit by Kevin Moreira. Mino Calvo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Basilio Harroyo in the 62nd minute. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Jimena F.C's goalkeeper Mino Calvo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Basilio Harroyo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mino Calvo having to interfere. In the 72nd minute Zadornin Buendia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mino Calvo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 73rd minute, Arnaldo Duran hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Basilio Harroyo got free with Mino Calvo in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Basilio Harroyo came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Tomiño fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Basilio Harroyo couldn't finish the play. If Basilio Harroyo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mino Calvo made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Basilio Harroyo sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Jimena F.C's zone, Basilio Harroyo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mino Calvo came out of the goal and Basilio Harroyo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Jimena F.C's goalkeeper Mino Calvo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match was over Tomiño could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Jimena F.C throughout the match.
