Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Miguel Navarro made the kick off which started today's match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Denis Acha in the 3rd minute of play forced Cródoba CF's goalkeeper Dacio Espinosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 5th minute, Loreto Huerta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cródoba CF's Dacio Espinosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Navarro in the 8th minute of play. Dacio Espinosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denis Acha in the 11th minute of play. Munio Morientes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Miguel Navarro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 27 minutes into the match, Cródoba CF's goal looked a bit too open when Denis Acha came free, but Dacio Espinosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 27 minutes into the game, Villarana's Miguel Navarro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dacio Espinosa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Miguel Navarro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dacio Espinosa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. Miguel Navarro took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dacio Espinosa. Dacio Espinosa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Munio Morientes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Goyo Cuadrado came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Cródoba CF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Goyo Cuadrado couldn't finish the play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 45 minutes into the game, when Cristo Cacheres put in a rough tackle. In the 44th minute, one of Villarana:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Villarana. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The wind increased when Munio Morientes made the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes into the match, Villarana's goal looked a bit too open when Munio Morientes came free, but Berdaitz Galdamez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 61 minutes, Goyo Cuadrado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cródoba CF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Goyo Cuadrado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Munio Morientes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Qwinton Cartagena charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Qwinton Cartagena the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 70 played minutes Cródoba CF got a freekick which was hit by Qwinton Cartagena. Odon Talavera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dacio Espinosa having to interfere. Goyo Cuadrado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 83 minutes, Denis Acha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Villarana's supporters crossed their fingers, but Denis Acha was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 88 minutes into the game, Cródoba CF's Munio Morientes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Berdaitz Galdamez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. If Munio Morientes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Berdaitz Galdamez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Munio Morientes in the 96th minute of play. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
