Urtungo Zapater might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Florin Quintas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Urtungo Zapater ran back to his position shaking his head. After 12 minutes, Unax Sainz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Santa Catalina CD and the Torga CF players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 12 played minutes Santa Catalina CD got a freekick which was hit by Unax Sainz. Urtungo Zapater received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Florin Quintas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Urtungo Zapater in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Florin Quintas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 15th match minute, Santa Catalina CD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Unax Sainz to maneuver through the defense. Urtungo Zapater received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Florin Quintas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Quintin Fernandez hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Santa Catalina CD's Unax Sainz got his second yellow card of the match in the 23rd minute. The referee ordered Unax Sainz off the ground. A collision led to Santa Catalina CD getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Unax Sainz hit a great ball. After 24 played minutes, Torga CF's Aniol Etxeberria shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Florin Quintas came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Torga CF reached it. Mendebal Rallo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Urtungo Zapater might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Florin Quintas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Urtungo Zapater ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 37 minutes, Urtungo Zapater managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Torga CF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Urtungo Zapater was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 38th minute, Amado Yeste hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mendebal Rallo scored 0-1 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Florin Quintas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 51st minute, Urtungo Zapater got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Urtungo Zapater's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Florin Quintas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. Urtungo Zapater sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Quintin Fernandez hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Damario Justo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nemesio Aznar having to interfere. Mendebal Rallo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Florin Quintas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Urtungo Zapater, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Urtungo Zapater sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Urtungo Zapater had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Torga CF supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Torga CF would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
