With a little luck, Museros's Hector Lara got control of the ball when Arbidel Montiel tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luis Garate in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Liberto Elguero prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Liberto Elguero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Garate in the 11th minute of the match. Luis Garate scored 0-1 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Liberto Elguero, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Museros's Hector Lara proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Museros from getting a goal against them. Luis Garate struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Liberto Elguero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Museros. In the 26th minute David Cano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hector Lara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Juan Naranjo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Liberto Elguero having to interfere. Hector Lara didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arbidel Montiel went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Joey Abascal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Hector Lara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arbidel Montiel got free with Hector Lara in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Loreto Candela hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Paulino Bouzon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 45thth minute of the game Luis Garate who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fontanar's Liberto Elguero was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by David Cano during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Fontanar's David Cano got a free kick in the 46th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luis Garate to strike the kick off in the second half. 59 minutes into the match, David Cano notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Museros's Hector Lara. Hector Lara was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luis Garate sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luis Garate struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Luis Garate showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Garate in the 76th minute of play forced Fontanar's goalkeeper Liberto Elguero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Museros's Hector Lara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benja Hidalgo in the 83rd minute of play. Luis Garate fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Liberto Elguero having to interfere. If Paulino Bouzon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Museros eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
