After a rather tough play, Barca fc's Tato Galego got a free kick in the 3rd minute. 4 minutes into the match, Luis Garate had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ferman Urruti. Barca fc's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luis Garate was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Tartalo Beloki hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. In the 10th minute Fagondo Barba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hector Lara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hector Lara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alejandro Urruti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 20th minute, Barca fc's Hermelando Mangas seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Hermelando Mangas the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Barca fc protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Hermelando Mangas had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 19 minutes into the game, one of Barca fc:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 22nd minute, Museros got a penalty, and Pancho Manzano placed the ball unsaveable into goal, by the right post. Ferman Urruti made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paulino Bouzon in the 27th minute. Ferman Urruti made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Luis Garate sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Valentín Zapatero during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 29th minute, Valentín Zapatero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 31st minute Tato Galego shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hector Lara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tato Galego in the 37th minute of play forced Museros's goalkeeper Hector Lara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hector Lara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tato Galego in the 40th minute of the match. In the 45th minute Fagondo Barba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hector Lara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ferman Urruti was a little too slow when Paulino Bouzon got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 46th minute. The score was now 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tato Galego made a kick off. If Tato Galego had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fagondo Barba got free with Hector Lara in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Museros's Hector Lara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tato Galego in the 58th minute of play. Museros's Hector Lara proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Museros from getting a goal against them. Hector Lara was a little too slow when Tato Galego got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 61st minute. The score was now 3-1. Hector Lara made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Fagondo Barba sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Museros booed when Barca fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramone Morientes didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Jerrold Colsa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Museros's Hector Lara proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Museros from getting a goal against them. Jerrold Colsa charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jerrold Colsa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Thanks to some nice moves Fagondo Barba could shoot a difficult shot in the 85th minute, which Hector Lara however easily saved by the left post. After 85 played minutes Museros got a freekick which was hit by Paulino Bouzon. In the 91st minute Baudelio Bouzon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hector Lara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hector Lara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tato Galego in the 95th minute of the match. Museros's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
