Celino Navarro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Montez Iniesta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Michel Arratia came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Belmez De La Moraleda AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Michel Arratia couldn't finish the play. Rosalio Astudillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herberto Lorenzo having to interfere. In the 21st match minute, Belmez De La Moraleda AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oswaldo Barral to maneuver through the defense. When Alicante FC's Celino Navarro in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Belmez De La Moraleda AFC's goalie prevented a goal. When the match clock showed 22 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Celino Navarro sped through Belmez De La Moraleda AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Montez Iniesta. Rosalio Astudillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herberto Lorenzo having to interfere. In the 31st minute, Celino Navarro made a precise shot to the right of Montez Iniesta. Belmez De La Moraleda AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Montez Iniesta came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Alicante FC's Gaskon Moreira. But to his dismay, Gaskon Moreira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. Celino Navarro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Michel Arratia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rosalio Astudillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Alicante FC were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gaskon Moreira made a kick off. Sanson Quintero hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Michel Arratia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Herberto Lorenzo having to make a save. Rosalio Astudillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herberto Lorenzo having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Belmez De La Moraleda AFC's Vermudo Rubio got a free kick in the 67th minute. Belmez De La Moraleda AFC's Michel Arratia got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Rosalio Astudillo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Belmez De La Moraleda AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rosalio Astudillo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Herberto Lorenzo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 82 minutes into the match, Belmez De La Moraleda AFC's Rosalio Astudillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Herberto Lorenzo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 92 minutes, Celino Navarro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alicante FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Celino Navarro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mino Gil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle went the supporters of Alicante FC were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Belmez De La Moraleda AFC side.
