The audience thought a goal was coming when Josias Murcia got free with Dimas Manrique in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Elviria's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, Elviria's Melchor Soldado got a free kick in the 60th minute. The Republica de Catalunya fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Nicolás Idiaquez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Elviria's supporters rose to their feet, but Nicolás Idiaquez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fran March breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Elviria players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Republica de Catalunya from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
