After a rather tough play, Mesere's Baltasar Silva got a free kick in the 9th minute. In the 14th minute, Charro Torrent hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Walme Morera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 22 minutes into the match, Outes FC's goal looked a bit too open when Walme Morera came free, but Froilan Marcos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 26 minutes of play, Mesere's Alexander Vila made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Froilan Marcos was left in no man's land by his defense there! Aniceto Machado's late challenge caught a Mesere's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aniceto Machado helped the player get up and apologised. In the 31st match minute, Outes FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aniceto Machado to maneuver through the defense. Luis Marin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Neto Villa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Outes FC's zone, Walme Morera stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Froilan Marcos came out of the goal and Walme Morera tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Romano Ortega hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luis Marin made a kick off. Neto Villa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luis Marin's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. After having played for 62 minutes, Aniceto Machado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Outes FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aniceto Machado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 68 minutes into the match, Mesere's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Marin came free, but Neto Villa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Froilan Marcos made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Xerardo Griful sent off a good shot on target. Alexander Vila fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Froilan Marcos having to interfere. Aniceto Machado's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Neto Villa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Walme Morera managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mesere's supporters rose to their feet, but Walme Morera was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Froilan Marcos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 89 minutes, Aniceto Machado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Outes FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aniceto Machado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alexander Vila got free with Froilan Marcos in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Walme Morera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Froilan Marcos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Mesere booed when Outes FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damario Martinez didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Mesere supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Mesere would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
