Dolfo Climent's late challenge caught a Covaron's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dolfo Climent helped the player get up and apologised. In the 6th minute, Dolfo Climent hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Maximino Cardeñosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ivón Castelao struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Pau Colillas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atlètic FC. Zosimo Alvarez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pau Colillas having to interfere. Ivón Castelao sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Pau Colillas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivón Castelao in the 17th minute of play. Pau Colillas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivón Castelao, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Atlètic FC's goalkeeper Raúl Blazquez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Maximino Cardeñosa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Raúl Blazquez having to make a save. Raúl Blazquez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximino Cardeñosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 28 minutes into the match, Atlètic FC's goal looked a bit too open when Maximino Cardeñosa came free, but Raúl Blazquez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ivón Castelao struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Pau Colillas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atlètic FC. Atlètic FC's Raúl Blazquez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximino Cardeñosa in the 38th minute of play. In the 42nd minute, Zosimo Alvarez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Covaron's Ospin Figueres got a free kick in the 45th minute.

Beti Rajoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raúl Blazquez having to interfere. With a little luck, Covaron's Pau Colillas got control of the ball when Ivón Castelao tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ivón Castelao's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pau Colillas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. In the 74th minute, Beti Rajoi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ivón Castelao struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. In the 78th minute Maximino Cardeñosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raúl Blazquez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ivón Castelao could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Pau Colillas made a huge save. Pau Colillas made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Ivón Castelao sent off a good shot on target. Pau Colillas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zosimo Alvarez, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute.
