Apemé booed when ANSEL FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gení Yeste didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gai Madariaga didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Asdrubal Grau went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Gai Madariaga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leobardo Beloki, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Gai Madariaga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leobardo Beloki in the 14th minute of the match. Peri Bermejo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Peri Bermejo in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sabin Torres saved U.D. Apemé from getting behind. 18 minutes into the match, U.D. Apemé's goal looked a bit too open when Hernando Romero came free, but Sabin Torres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gai Madariaga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Unai Montero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emmanuel Madariaga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sabin Torres having to interfere. With his leg Sabin Torres managed to avoid a goal in the 31stth minute, when ANSEL FC's Emmanuel Madariaga fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Peri Bermejo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 34 minutes, Emmanuel Madariaga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ANSEL FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emmanuel Madariaga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hernando Romero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Emmanuel Madariaga came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the ANSEL FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emmanuel Madariaga couldn't finish the play. Sabin Torres made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Emmanuel Madariaga sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, ANSEL FC's Emilio Nafría got a free kick in the 45th minute. After a defensive mix-up in ANSEL FC's zone, Leobardo Beloki stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gai Madariaga came out of the goal and Leobardo Beloki tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

52 minutes into the match, ANSEL FC's Constantino Lacorte sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sabin Torres narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sabin Torres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emmanuel Madariaga, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. If Constantino Lacorte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Constantino Lacorte managed to get in a good position for a shot. ANSEL FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Constantino Lacorte was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sabin Torres breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With 62 minutes on the clock, Arlo Vazquez commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Xicu Muelas placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Aita Dellasierra could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Gai Madariaga made a huge save. Gení Yeste sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Unai Montero succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-2 in the 71st playminute. The supporters of ANSEL FC booed when U.D. Apemé was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Asdrubal Grau didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 77th minute, Emmanuel Madariaga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Constantino Lacorte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 85 minutes, Emmanuel Madariaga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Emmanuel Madariaga struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Sabin Torres didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ANSEL FC. In the 97th minute Hernando Romero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sabin Torres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Malvin Caminero fell near the penalty area in the 98th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored U.D. Apemé's protests and gave Malvin Caminero a yellow card for diving instead. Although ANSEL FC had been in control for most of the match, U.D. Apemé still came away with the win.
