Marchenilla's Ted Camacho got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Horacio Higuera in the 34thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Eduardo Treviño, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Louis Montero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Horacio Higuera in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eduardo Treviño prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Horacio Higuera's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eduardo Treviño was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. Marchenilla's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
