With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arturo Macia in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Selmo Pena saved El Gobernador SD from getting behind. El Gobernador SD's Anter Buendia got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Angel Palacios made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rencio Cayuela in the 26th minute. In the 29th minute Hechter Abasalo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Selmo Pena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Selmo Pena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arturo Macia in the 30th minute of play. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind El Gobernador SD's goalkeeper Selmo Pena, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Xusto Parra's late challenge caught a Torpedo 24's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hechter Abasalo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Selmo Pena read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. Torpedo 24's Arturo Macia got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Xusto Parra hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. In the 68th minute, Hechter Abasalo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Arturo Macia scored 0-2 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Selmo Pena, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With his leg Selmo Pena managed to avoid a goal in the 78thth minute, when Torpedo 24's Arturo Macia fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After some careless play in the El Gobernador SD defense, Arturo Macia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Selmo Pena. The El Gobernador SD fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Selmo Pena should have stopped the shot. After having played for 87 minutes, Arturo Macia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Torpedo 24's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arturo Macia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Torpedo 24's Hechter Abasalo got a free kick in the 89th minute. If Rencio Cayuela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Arturo Macia came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Torpedo 24 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arturo Macia couldn't finish the play.
