After the first half Squad21 were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Ezker Turrilla made the kick off in the second half. 65 minutes into the match, Squad21's goal looked a bit too open when Flavio Montes came free, but Ricart Medina reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emiliano Serrano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Jose-Enrique Serrano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Severino Olle kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Xerez Club Deportivo SAD lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
