In the 20th minute, Joanes Izquierdo made a precise shot to the right of Fabián Castillo. Auria S.D.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Lander Huarte didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Felipe Treviño went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Fabián Castillo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joanes Izquierdo went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaudencio Sainz in the 35th minute of play forced Auria S.D.'s goalkeeper Fabián Castillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Garcilaso Coira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabián Castillo having to interfere. If Joanes Izquierdo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Joanes Izquierdo came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the El Basot SD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joanes Izquierdo couldn't finish the play. If Garcilaso Coira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabián Castillo made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Joanes Izquierdo sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of El Basot SD booed when Auria S.D. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Etxahun Acarreta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Auria S.D. were furious when Xiao Marques was red carded, 83 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 88 minutes into the game, Joanes Izquierdo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Fabián Castillo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Fabián Castillo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Garcilaso Coira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. El Basot SD played a much better game than Auria S.D. and deserved their victory. The Auria S.D. players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
