The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Clodio Fuentes hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Lazaro Gandia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cloyo Griful in the 4th minute. After a defensive mix-up in El Rafalet's zone, Luke Rallo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lazaro Gandia came out of the goal and Luke Rallo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. El Rafalet's Lazaro Gandia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luke Rallo in the 22nd minute of play. Luke Rallo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lazaro Gandia having to interfere. After having played for 27 minutes, Iratxo Mala managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Rafalet's supporters crossed their fingers, but Iratxo Mala was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 30 minutes into the match, El Rafalet's goalkeeper Lazaro Gandia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cloyo Griful. Lazaro Gandia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cloyo Griful in the 32nd minute. Cambranes Montaña's late challenge caught a Polinyà's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cambranes Montaña helped the player get up and apologised. Cambranes Montaña kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. In the 38th minute, Pio Zapatero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Angelino Baltanas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tebaldo Lorenzo having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luke Rallo was the one to do the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Enrico Serrano during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, El Rafalet's Enrico Serrano got a free kick in the 56th minute. In the 62nd minute, Garibaldo Redondo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lazaro Gandia was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. When Iratxo Mala came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the El Rafalet fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iratxo Mala couldn't finish the play. Pio Zapatero might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tebaldo Lorenzo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pio Zapatero ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ugaitz Balcells during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 80th minute, Ugaitz Balcells hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Iratxo Mala got free in front of the goal in the 81st minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Tebaldo Lorenzo was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. A collision led to El Rafalet getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Iratxo Mala hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Pio Zapatero managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Rafalet's supporters rose to their feet, but Pio Zapatero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tebaldo Lorenzo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lazaro Gandia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ugaitz Balcells, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Polinyà had won after a very even match.
