Marvel Athletic's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lordi Soler was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Feliciano Herrera struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Piorno Guasch didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marvel Athletic. If Jose-Juan Baltanas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Garaona Sarro hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Puente Viejo's Piorno Guasch proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Puente Viejo from getting a goal against them. In the 17th minute, Leandro Zárate ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Piorno Guasch was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Leandro Zárate in the 23rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Piorno Guasch, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Leandro Zárate's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Piorno Guasch read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. Puente Viejo's Piorno Guasch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Feliciano Herrera in the 40th minute of play. Leandro Zárate sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Piorno Guasch showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Feliciano Herrera, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Lordi Soler recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 53rd minute, Turi Jareño hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 55th minute, Jose-Juan Baltanas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Piorno Guasch was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. With a little luck, Marvel Athletic's Karlos Bargas got control of the ball when Lordi Soler tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Jose-Juan Baltanas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 63rd minute, Feliciano Herrera made a precise shot to the right of Piorno Guasch. Puente Viejo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Karlos Bargas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zuberoa Sabina, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Jose-Juan Baltanas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Piorno Guasch having to interfere. 76 minutes into the match, Marvel Athletic's goalkeeper Karlos Bargas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zuberoa Sabina. The audience thought a goal was coming when Esteban Blazquez got free with Karlos Bargas in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Piorno Guasch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jose-Juan Baltanas in the 80th minute of the match. Karlos Bargas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zuberoa Sabina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Puente Viejo getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Garaona Sarro hit a great ball. Leandro Zárate sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Jose-Juan Baltanas came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Marvel Athletic fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jose-Juan Baltanas couldn't finish the play. Leandro Zárate's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Piorno Guasch read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. Feliciano Herrera hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. The Marvel Athletic support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
