When Romeo Canturri fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Marrupe SAD's protests and gave Romeo Canturri a yellow card for diving instead. Romeo Canturri kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giorgio Coya in the 14th minute of play forced Marrupe SAD's goalkeeper Efren Santiago to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Molinos De Papel's Guter Solana proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Molinos De Papel from getting a goal against them. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 18th minute of the game. One of Molinos De Papel:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Marrupe SAD:s goal. The referee gave Marrupe SAD a penalty, 19 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Gilen Galdamez, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Molinos De Papel's Guter Solana. 1-1. Giorgio Coya might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Efren Santiago. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Giorgio Coya ran back to his position shaking his head. 23 minutes into the game, Molinos De Papel's Florinio Doblas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Efren Santiago made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Efren Santiago made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giorgio Coya in the 28th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Giorgio Coya's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Efren Santiago was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. In the 29th match minute, Marrupe SAD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Caton Izaguirre to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 31 minutes, Florinio Doblas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. After having played for 35 minutes, Narciso Cainzos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Marrupe SAD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Narciso Cainzos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Giorgio Coya received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Efren Santiago tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Narciso Cainzos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Romeo Canturri made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giorgio Coya in the 55th minute of play forced Marrupe SAD's goalkeeper Efren Santiago to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, Molinos De Papel's Efren Santiago threw himself towards the right post 59 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Giorgio Coya, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Giorgio Coya fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Efren Santiago having to interfere. Guter Solana stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Romeo Canturri's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. Guter Solana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romeo Canturri, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Efren Santiago made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giorgio Coya in the 77th minute of play. In the 89th match minute, Marrupe SAD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilen Galdamez to maneuver through the defense. When Giorgio Coya came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Molinos De Papel fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Giorgio Coya couldn't finish the play. When the final whistle sounded Molinos De Papel left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Marrupe SAD.
