Cristofer Sauca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Toli Pena in the 20th minute of play. In the 23rd minute, Gaizkine Cruz made a precise shot to the right of Cristofer Sauca. La Islica SD's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After 29 played minutes La Islica SD got a freekick which was hit by Berenguer Antunez. Toli Pena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 33rd minute Zelipe Avila shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Medero Calvo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Team Royale's Gaizkine Cruz got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gaizkine Cruz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristofer Sauca having to interfere. In the 40th minute, Toli Pena got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Gaizkine Cruz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Medero Calvo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zelipe Avila in the 45th minute of the match. Zelipe Avila struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Medero Calvo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Islica SD. After the first half The Team Royale were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zelipe Avila stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Zelipe Avila's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Medero Calvo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. If Toli Pena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 75 minutes had been played when some careless play by La Islica SD's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Troyes Casero was slow to take the kick. During this time The Team Royale's players had a chance to rest. Rodolfo Marin kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Gaizkine Cruz managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Team Royale's supporters rose to their feet, but Gaizkine Cruz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristofer Sauca breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Zelipe Avila came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the La Islica SD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zelipe Avila couldn't finish the play. 88 minutes into the match, The Team Royale's goal looked a bit too open when Zelipe Avila came free, but Medero Calvo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 92 minutes into the match, La Islica SD's goal looked a bit too open when Gaizkine Cruz came free, but Cristofer Sauca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
