When %teams%'s Bitxintxo Losantos was free in front of goal, he didn't hesitate to shoot 1-0 just inside the left pole, 2 minutes into the game. Gartzea Canal was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot. A collision led to Cancelada getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Isauro Gomar hit a great ball. Saturnino Roig took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matias Morera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 8 minutes into the match, Cancelada's goal looked a bit too open when Matias Morera came free, but Saturnino Roig reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Manuel Clemente could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Gartzea Canal made a huge save. Saturnino Roig showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Curcio Menendez in the 13th minute of the match. After having played for 15 minutes, Curcio Menendez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Villa Sol FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Curcio Menendez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gartzea Canal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Manuel Clemente in the 17th minute. 22 minutes into the game, Xacintu Vilanova was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Villa Sol FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cancelada the free kick. Manuel Clemente struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Gartzea Canal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cancelada. When Xacintu Vilanova came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Villa Sol FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Xacintu Vilanova couldn't finish the play. Saturnino Roig stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Curcio Menendez's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. In the 42nd minute Curcio Menendez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saturnino Roig saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 45th minute, Matias Morera ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Saturnino Roig was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bitxintxo Losantos to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Cancelada's Manuel Clemente sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gartzea Canal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Curcio Menendez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Villa Sol FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Curcio Menendez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Saturnino Roig breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Matias Morera in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Saturnino Roig saved Cancelada from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Allande Sancho in the 67th minute of play forced Villa Sol FC's goalkeeper Gartzea Canal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Bitxintxo Losantos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manuel Clemente might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gartzea Canal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Manuel Clemente ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 75 minutes, Bitxintxo Losantos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cancelada's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bitxintxo Losantos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 79thth minute of the game Manuel Clemente who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Villa Sol FC's Gartzea Canal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Villa Sol FC's Xacintu Vilanova got a free kick in the 79th minute. In the 83rd minute Manuel Clemente shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gartzea Canal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 87thth minute of the game Matias Morera who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cancelada's Saturnino Roig was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bermudo Cabanela kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
