The goalkeeper, Lluc Campos, was totally fooled by Rostov FC's Lazaro Morientes, who 4 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Anatoliy Voronov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 14th minute Anatoliy Voronov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lluc Campos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lluc Campos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anatoliy Voronov's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. Anatoliy Voronov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lluc Campos having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vergaray Baños during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 19th minute, Vergaray Baños hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Rostov FC fans' excitement grew in the 28th match minute when Rostov FC's Hieronim Gongolewicz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Lluc Campos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hieronim Gongolewicz in the 32nd minute. 36 minutes into the match, Barbudo SAD's goal looked a bit too open when Anatoliy Voronov came free, but Lluc Campos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Hieronim Gongolewicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 46th minute, Cefero Coira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Barbudo SAD's Lluc Campos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anatoliy Voronov in the 47th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

53 minutes into the match, Barbudo SAD's goal looked a bit too open when Hieronim Gongolewicz came free, but Lluc Campos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 54th minute of the game. One of Barbudo SAD:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Rostov FC:s goal. In the 57th minute, Hieronim Gongolewicz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vitin Vazquez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nono Nunez in the 64th minute of play. Hieronim Gongolewicz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lluc Campos having to interfere. Lluc Campos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anatoliy Voronov, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. 70 minutes into the match, Rostov FC's goalkeeper Vitin Vazquez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jose-Manuel Gabas. If Hieronim Gongolewicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 75thth minute of the game Hieronim Gongolewicz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Barbudo SAD's Lluc Campos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lluc Campos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anatoliy Voronov's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. The referee gave Barbudo SAD a penalty, 80 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Duarte Losada, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Rostov FC's Vitin Vazquez. 4-1. Anatoliy Voronov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lluc Campos having to interfere. Hieronim Gongolewicz hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Barbudo SAD's Cefero Coira got a free kick in the 94th minute. If Anatoliy Voronov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Barbudo SAD's zone, Anatoliy Voronov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lluc Campos came out of the goal and Anatoliy Voronov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
