Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Silvino Gómez took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 6 minutes of play, Almenar's Eutropio Guerrero made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Txomin Calatayud was left in no man's land by his defense there! Pedro Carreira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Haroldo Rey, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. In the 14th minute, one of Playa de Gandia FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Playa de Gandia FC. Luis Abad shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Blanco Arraz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Carreira having to interfere. Rai Calderon struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Pedro Carreira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Playa de Gandia FC. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Rai Calderon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Playa de Gandia FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rai Calderon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Carreira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eutropio Guerrero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Txomin Calatayud tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Silvino Gómez struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Txomin Calatayud didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Almenar. If Eutropio Guerrero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 41st minute Silvino Gómez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Txomin Calatayud saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 43rd match minute, Almenar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lekumberri De la Torre to maneuver through the defense. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Blanco Arraz made the kick off in the second half. Rai Calderon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 58 minutes, Blanco Arraz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Playa de Gandia FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Blanco Arraz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Serafín Martinez hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Primitivo Gala during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 62nd match minute, Playa de Gandia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Primitivo Gala to maneuver through the defense. Txomin Calatayud stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Silvino Gómez's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. Playa de Gandia FC's Txomin Calatayud played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eutropio Guerrero in the 72nd minute of play. Eutropio Guerrero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Txomin Calatayud having to interfere. The supporters of Playa de Gandia FC booed when Almenar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnulfo Macho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Playa de Gandia FC's Adán Garate couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 88th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Almenar. Through an outstanding action, after 92 minutes, Pedro Carreira successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Almenar were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Playa de Gandia FC for a fine match.
