Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Cordeal Jofre kicked off to start the match. If Cesario Cordoba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Urtsin Soto's late challenge caught a La Oveja Insomne's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Urtsin Soto helped the player get up and apologised. Urtsin Soto hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Cordeal Jofre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Zaplana having to interfere. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind La Oveja Insomne's goalkeeper Alirio Pedriza, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Urtsin Soto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alirio Pedriza made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Mazuste Canosa sent off a good shot on target. After 27 minutes, Cresconio Pena mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the La Oveja Insomne and the Real Atlético de Jaén players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cresconio Pena was shown his second yellow card after 30 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Real Atlético de Jaén booed when La Oveja Insomne was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cresconio Pena didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cordeal Jofre hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Mazuste Canosa in the 36thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Alirio Pedriza, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Alirio Pedriza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benigno Infante in the 37th minute of play. Mazuste Canosa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Alirio Pedriza made a huge save. Benigno Infante sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 41st minute, Mazuste Canosa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alirio Pedriza was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 45th match minute, Real Atlético de Jaén was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benigno Infante to maneuver through the defense. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mazuste Canosa to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rdth minute of the game Mazuste Canosa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but La Oveja Insomne's Alirio Pedriza was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 56 minutes, Mazuste Canosa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Real Atlético de Jaén's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mazuste Canosa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alirio Pedriza didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mazuste Canosa went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Alirio Pedriza stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mazuste Canosa's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. After 66th play minutes Mazuste Canosa shot 3-0, a short shot which went by Alirio Pedriza and just under the crossbar into goal. After 71 played minutes Real Atlético de Jaén got a freekick which was hit by Urtsin Soto. Kepa Ramos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Mazuste Canosa came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Real Atlético de Jaén fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mazuste Canosa couldn't finish the play. Real Atlético de Jaén's Mazuste Canosa got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 90th minute, Urtsin Soto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alirio Pedriza stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mazuste Canosa's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. Benigno Infante received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Alirio Pedriza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Darien Avila recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee ended the match the Real Atlético de Jaén players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
