In the 5th minute, Ariando Vuelta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 0-1 became the score in the 21st minute when Benvido Casanova elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After 27 minutes, Fabricio Garate mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the dorada and the Lowes players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, dorada's Fabricio Garate got a free kick in the 27th minute. When the match clock showed 39 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Ceferino Cruz sped through Lowes's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mero Palomares. If Ceferino Cruz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The Lowes players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. dorada were winning 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rafael Torres stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Lowes getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. José Domenech hit a great ball. Benvido Casanova recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 56 minutes into the match, Lowes's goalkeeper Mero Palomares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ceferino Cruz. Ceferino Cruzs short, quick shot in the 68thth minute got Mero Palomares to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ariando Vuelta got free with Mero Palomares in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Ceferino Cruz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mero Palomares was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. Mero Palomares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ceferino Cruz in the 85th minute of play. Pepillo Molina showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tulio Puyol in the 88th minute of the match. In the 89th minute, Tulio Puyol got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
