Landolfo Silvestre started the match with the kick off. Santi Marrero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Landolfo Silvestre in the 4th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Uztegi CF's Cristian Montes got a free kick in the 7th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pancho Sobrado in the 9th minute of play forced San Fernando's goalkeeper Santi Marrero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st minute, Uztegi CF's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Etxatxu Marques fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Santi Marrero came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Uztegi CF's Landolfo Silvestre. But to his dismay, Landolfo Silvestre quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Rami Saboya managed to get in a good position for a shot. San Fernando's supporters rose to their feet, but Rami Saboya was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Seve Vallejo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Etxatxu Marques fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Seve Vallejo having to interfere. In the 35th minute, Rami Saboya had to leave the field with a concussion. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sotil Saez during the 35th minute. After 47 played minutes Uztegi CF got a freekick which was hit by Rodrigo Briso. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Etxatxu Marques was the one to do the kick off. Seve Vallejo came out of the goal and Etxatxu Marques tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 72nd minute, Landolfo Silvestre fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Santi Marrero, passed just outside the right post. Etxatxu Marques fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Seve Vallejo having to interfere. Uztegi CF's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
