Tito Galnares's late challenge caught a Alcaine's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tito Galnares helped the player get up and apologised. In the 16th minute, Tito Galnares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anaut Pedraza during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Alcaine booed when A.D. Ayna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anaut Pedraza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Playo Olle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Venceslás Coira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Venceslás Coira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tito Galnares in the 28th minute of the match. Playo Olle blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Venceslás Coira having to make a save. 32 minutes into the match, Alcaine's goal looked a bit too open when Loren Sacristán came free, but Venceslás Coira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35th match minute, Alcaine was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leopoldo Companys to maneuver through the defense. In the 38th minute Playo Olle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Venceslás Coira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Playo Olle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bartolomé Buenafuente struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Lalo Rivera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alcaine. In the 47th minute, Nuno Escobar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bartolomé Buenafuente to make the kick off. Loren Sacristán fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Venceslás Coira having to interfere. Venceslás Coira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Playo Olle, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. 64 minutes into the game, Alcaine's Toni Flores nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lalo Rivera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Napoleón Nueva took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 69th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Lalo Rivera. A.D. Ayna's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Playo Olle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Venceslás Coira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Loren Sacristán had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Playo Olle came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the A.D. Ayna fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Playo Olle couldn't finish the play. If Tito Galnares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Playo Olle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Otero Sans hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. After 95 minutes, Otero Sans mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Alcaine and the A.D. Ayna players grew even worse after the yellow card. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Alcaine were victorious despite being under pressure from A.D. Ayna for much of the match.
