Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Viznar's Rami Lopez started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Manuel Uria hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. In the 5th minute, Vermudo Villar made a precise shot to the right of Eriberto Abellan. Viznar's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Humberto Guasch's late challenge caught a Viznar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Humberto Guasch helped the player get up and apologised. In the 9th minute, Humberto Guasch hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 15th minute, Vermudo Villar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The U.D.Salamanca fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. When Vermudo Villar came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the U.D.Salamanca fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vermudo Villar couldn't finish the play. Eloy Montes hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. A collision led to U.D.Salamanca getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Humberto Guasch hit a great ball. In the 31st minute Viznar were awarded a corner. Anselmo Pareja went to the cornerflag to take it. Vermudo Villar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Eriberto Abellan made a huge save. In the 36th play minute Vermudo Villar came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Eriberto Abellan. 3-1. Vermudo Villar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Eriberto Abellan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Donatello Zamora made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vermudo Villar in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eriberto Abellan saved Viznar from getting behind. If Eloy Montes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 56 minutes, Paquito Negro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the U.D.Salamanca and the Viznar players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rami Lopez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Vermudo Villar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vermudo Villar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Donatello Zamora had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Eriberto Abellan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vermudo Villar, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Donatello Zamora took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eriberto Abellan. Eriberto Abellan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. U.D.Salamanca's Vermudo Villar got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 91st minute, Eloy Montes made a precise shot to the right of Xulian Solana. U.D.Salamanca's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2. U.D.Salamanca's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Rami Lopez 96 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 4-3.
