Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Cidro Carreira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lolo Tarin in the 3rd minute of play. When Milian Camino came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Alicante fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Milian Camino couldn't finish the play. In the 28th minute Cristian Fonticoba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tome Jorquera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 32 minutes, Manolo Suarez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Alicante and the Huermeces players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 32nd minute, Manolo Suarez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Milian Camino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tome Jorquera came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Alicante's Milian Camino. But to his dismay, Milian Camino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Huermeces's Tome Jorquera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manolo Suarez in the 46th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

After 55 played minutes Huermeces got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Herrera. Carlos Herrera hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Milian Camino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 64 played minutes Alicante got a freekick which was hit by Miguel Jareño. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Milian Camino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alicante's supporters rose to their feet, but Milian Camino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tome Jorquera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Huermeces's Lolo Tarin got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 69 played minutes Alicante got a freekick which was hit by Manolo Suarez. Lolo Tarin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Cidro Carreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Huermeces booed when Alicante was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fero Freire didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tome Jorquera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Fonticoba in the 75th minute of the match. Milian Camino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Tome Jorquera made a huge save. Carlos Herrera hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Tome Jorquera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Fonticoba, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Milian Camino got free with Tome Jorquera in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Lolo Tarin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Huermeces's supporters rose to their feet, but Lolo Tarin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cidro Carreira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cristian Fonticoba blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tome Jorquera having to make a save. Alicante's Cristian Fonticoba got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Huermeces fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Alicante were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
