Amerigo Jurado started the match with the kick off. In the 9th minute, los tuercebotas's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Leo Justo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. los tuercebotas's defense didn't have a chance, in the 16th minute, when Amerigo Jurado scored to the left of an out of position Sidney Samuels, making the score, 1-0. Leo Justo in the 32ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Sidney Samuels, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Leo Justo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 35 minutes, Leopoldo Dominguez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the los tuercebotas and the C.F. Montañesa players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, los tuercebotas's Leopoldo Dominguez got a free kick in the 35th minute. 37 minutes into the game, Rufino Arraz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C.F. Montañesa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave los tuercebotas the free kick. In the 38th minute, Rufino Arraz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 40 minutes, Loreto Perez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C.F. Montañesa and the los tuercebotas players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 40th match minute, C.F. Montañesa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Loreto Perez to maneuver through the defense. Crescencio Maroto took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 41st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dante Japón. C.F. Montañesa's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. los tuercebotas's Sidney Samuels played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amerigo Jurado in the 43rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaitan Viqueira in the 44th minute of play forced C.F. Montañesa's goalkeeper Dante Japón to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gaitan Viqueira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. los tuercebotas's Sidney Samuels played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leo Justo in the 51st minute of play. In the 54th minute C.F. Montañesa were awarded a corner. Loreto Perez went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led C.F. Montañesa's Loreto Perez to fire away a dangerous shot which Sidney Samuels despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. If Leo Justo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Amerigo Jurado's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sidney Samuels was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. Amerigo Jurado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Sidney Samuels tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. C.F. Montañesa's Dante Japón played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaitan Viqueira in the 71st minute of play. Sidney Samuels showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leo Justo, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Sidney Samuels took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amerigo Jurado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. C.F. Montañesa's Amerigo Jurado got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, los tuercebotas's Elazar Sarro got a free kick in the 89th minute. If Amerigo Jurado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sidney Samuels stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Amerigo Jurado's shot from short distance in the 96th minute.
