The Calafat AFC fans' excitement grew in the 8th match minute when Calafat AFC's Pancho Rojas looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Dueso's Xurxo Antunez in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Calafat AFC's goalie prevented a goal. 19 minutes into the match, Pancho Rojas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vladimir Roig. Dueso's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pancho Rojas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pancho Rojas in the 22nd minute of play forced Dueso's goalkeeper Vladimir Roig to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 25th minute, Pascal Turienzo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pascal Turienzo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Leocadio Fresnos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Calafat AFC's Leocadio Fresnos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xurxo Antunez in the 37th minute of play. 42 minutes into the game, Pastor Ruiz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Leocadio Fresnos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Xurxo Antunez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Leocadio Fresnos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Dueso's Cutberto Blazquez pulled a muscle in his leg after 56 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 61 minutes into the match, Dueso's goal looked a bit too open when Andrés-Fernando Titos came free, but Vladimir Roig reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andrés-Fernando Titos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Vladimir Roig tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Calafat AFC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Silvio Radaban in the 77th minute. Andrés-Fernando Titos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Vladimir Roig tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Calafat AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Dueso had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
