In the 4th minute Asteri Rua shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filomeno Maldonado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Asteri Rua received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Filomeno Maldonado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Agustín Abril showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aznar Ribas, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Aznar Ribas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Agustín Abril having to interfere. When Aznar Ribas came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Riba De Neira fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aznar Ribas couldn't finish the play. 20 minutes into the match, Quintes's goal looked a bit too open when Adán Azofra came free, but Agustín Abril reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Agustín Abril made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gabriel Mendez in the 22nd minute. The supporters of Riba De Neira booed when Quintes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zoel Macías didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot 25 in the game by Gabriel Mendez from a close distance when the talented Agustín Abril managed to make a qualified save. Quintes's players were relieved. After recieving a nice pass, Quintes's Feliberto Rapado tried to score from far away in the 34th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Maule Galego fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filomeno Maldonado having to interfere. Cleto Sanz was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 47 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Quintes fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 46th minute. Penalty! All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
Filomeno Maldonado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Asteri Rua in the 61st minute of the match. In the 64th minute of the match Odon Marcilla sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Agustín Abril skillfully saved the ball. In the 66th minute, Odon Marcilla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aznar Ribas in the 73rd minute of play forced Quintes's goalkeeper Agustín Abril to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Francisco Cerreri charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Francisco Cerreri the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 78th match minute, Quintes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francisco Cerreri to maneuver through the defense. Gabriel Mendez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 84th minute, Asteri Rua hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Quintes's Zoel Macías got a free kick in the 89th minute. After 92 minutes Quintes's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Odon Marcilla who took care of the corner kick. Riba De Neira's Odon Marcilla was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Agustín Abril in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Aznar Ribas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Agustín Abril tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gabriel Mendez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 100th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. For all the effort they put into the match, the Quintes players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Riba De Neira.
