Araoz Campoamor hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. In the 9th minute, Anselmo Cano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cordeal Landa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Vazquez having to interfere. After some careless play in the Santa María De Montmagastrell FC defense, Siro Valdés kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Manuel Vazquez. The Santa María De Montmagastrell FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Manuel Vazquez should have stopped the shot. If Siro Valdés had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 20th minute, Siro Valdés got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Manuel Vazquez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cordeal Landa, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Cordeal Landa struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Manuel Vazquez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Codeso. Manuel Vazquez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cordeal Landa in the 27th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Javier Sacristán in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Uhin Rodriguez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Manuel Vazquez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cordeal Landa in the 37th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Codeso's zone, Javier Sacristán stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Uhin Rodriguez came out of the goal and Javier Sacristán tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

In the 53rd minute, Cordeal Landa fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Manuel Vazquez, passed just outside the right post. A collision led to Codeso getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Isauro Barrientos hit a great ball. If Siro Valdés had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Santa María De Montmagastrell FC's goalkeeper Manuel Vazquez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Santa María De Montmagastrell FC's Javier Sacristán in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Codeso's goalie prevented a goal. Siro Valdés's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Manuel Vazquez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. Codeso's Cordeal Landa got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cordeal Landa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Santa María De Montmagastrell FC booed when Codeso was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Siro Valdés didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Lawrence Montiel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Codeso's Uhin Rodriguez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Javier Sacristán in the 96th minute of play. After 97 minutes, Hurko Ladra mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Codeso and the Santa María De Montmagastrell FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Santa María De Montmagastrell FC booed when Codeso was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hurko Ladra didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Codeso had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
