Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Telmo Blanco made the kick off and thus started the match. 3 minutes into the game, Zarando Izaguirre was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Aztegieta's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Union Risco the free kick. Telmo Blanco scored 1-1 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Burni Pabon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 21 minutes into the match, Lucas Losantos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcelino Lara. Union Risco's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lucas Losantos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. The supporters of Union Risco booed when Aztegieta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mario Iglesias didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maureo Sacristán hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Telmo Blanco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Burni Pabon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Fabián Montero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 33rd minute, Telmo Blanco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Telmo Blanco in the 36thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Burni Pabon, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Remigio Pascua fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Burni Pabon having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Aztegieta's Mergildo Briso got a free kick in the 39th minute. Burni Pabon made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Telmo Blanco sent off a good shot on target. The Union Risco players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Aztegieta were winning 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lucas Losantos made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Aztegieta's Fabián Amorebieta got a free kick in the 64th minute. Aztegieta's Burni Pabon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Telmo Blanco in the 69th minute of play. After having played for 70 minutes, Domingo Ortega managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Union Risco's supporters crossed their fingers, but Domingo Ortega was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Burni Pabon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Telmo Blanco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Union Risco's Rafael España got a free kick in the 79th minute. Lico Guerrero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 82nd minute, Telmo Blanco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Union Risco fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. If Telmo Blanco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Burni Pabon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remigio Pascua in the 94th minute of play. Mergildo Briso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelino Lara having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Union Risco players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
