Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Aztegieta's Lucas Losantos started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Mergildo Briso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Milton Huguet made a huge save. Mergildo Briso in the 5thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Milton Huguet, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Milton Huguet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucas Losantos in the 8th minute of play. Herberto Gómez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Herberto Gómez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Burni Pabon having to interfere. In the 16th minute, Herberto Gómez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Azañon fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. A well placed Aitor Folch short distance shot in the 26th minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. In the 30th match minute, Azañon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Urbes Maldonado to maneuver through the defense. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Azañon's goalkeeper Milton Huguet, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Burni Pabon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Herberto Gómez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 37 minutes into the match, Azañon's goalkeeper Milton Huguet had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mergildo Briso. Aitor Folch might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Milton Huguet. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aitor Folch ran back to his position shaking his head.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Herberto Gómez was the one to do the kick off. Azañon's Milton Huguet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucas Losantos in the 56th minute of play. Mergildo Briso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mergildo Briso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Milton Huguet having to interfere. After recieving a nice pass, Aztegieta's Lucas Talavera tried to score from far away in the 72nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lucas Losantos in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Milton Huguet saved Azañon from getting behind. Frodo Ziguenza could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Burni Pabon made a huge save. Lucas Losantos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Aztegieta lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
