Pepe Crespo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Teodoro Ferrer read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Empuria Brava's zone, Hernando Canturri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vinicio Dorado came out of the goal and Hernando Canturri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vinicio Dorado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hernando Canturri in the 32nd minute of play. A collision led to Empuria Brava getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Chinto Canosa hit a great ball. In the 36th match minute, Empuria Brava was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zavier Marcilla to maneuver through the defense. Hernando Canturri kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Vinicio Dorado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Muno Zafrilla in the 39th minute of play. Empuria Brava's Vinicio Dorado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Muno Zafrilla in the 41st minute of play. When Chinto Canosa fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Empuria Brava's protests and gave Chinto Canosa a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Empuria Brava's Chinto Canosa got a free kick in the 42nd minute. The wind increased when Guillen Palencia made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 53 minutes, Hernando Canturri managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bonilla SAD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hernando Canturri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vinicio Dorado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hernando Canturri, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Muno Zafrilla could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Vinicio Dorado made a huge save. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Empuria Brava's goalkeeper Vinicio Dorado, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With his leg Vinicio Dorado managed to avoid a goal in the 69thth minute, when Bonilla SAD's Muno Zafrilla fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 70th match minute, Empuria Brava was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ander Vera to maneuver through the defense.
