Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Gandolfo Macia started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Lucio Pena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Empuria Brava's zone, Lucio Pena stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vinicio Dorado came out of the goal and Lucio Pena tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gitano Lagunas was out of position in the 12 minute of play, and Guillen Palencia capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Guillen Palencia really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 15th minute, Lucio Pena ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vinicio Dorado was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Gandolfo Macia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Vinicio Dorado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 24 minutes into the match, Torralba De Ribota's goalkeeper Gitano Lagunas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pepe Crespo. Pepe Crespo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gitano Lagunas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. Gabino Camino's late challenge caught a Empuria Brava's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gabino Camino helped the player get up and apologised. Lolo Rivas was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 33 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Torralba De Ribota fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 32nd minute. Penalty! Gandolfo Macia tried in the game's 36th match minute to clear up in front of his own goal but it went so bad that he put the ball into the goal to the left of an unhappy Gitano Lagunas. An annoying self made goal, 2-1. In the 43rd match minute, Torralba De Ribota was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gandolfo Macia to maneuver through the defense. 45 minutes in the game, Guillen Palencia dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. If Chinto Canosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Guillen Palencia to strike the kick off in the second half. Lucio Pena recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gitano Lagunas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guillen Palencia in the 55th minute of the match. 57 minutes into the game, Pepe Crespo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Gitano Lagunas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gitano Lagunas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Guillen Palencia's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. After 65 played minutes Torralba De Ribota got a freekick which was hit by Asier Roig. In the 68th minute Empuria Brava were awarded a corner. Salbatore Blanco went to the cornerflag to take it. 71 minutes into the match, Empuria Brava's Chinto Canosa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gitano Lagunas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 73 minutes into the match, Empuria Brava's goalkeeper Vinicio Dorado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lucio Pena. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Delmar Torres during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Delmar Torres kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. In the 77th minute, Baraxil Hernandez sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Empuria Brava's Vinicio Dorado didn't even have to move. Pepe Crespo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Asier Roig during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Asier Roig kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. After 90 played minutes, Empuria Brava's Salbatore Blanco shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gitano Lagunas came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Empuria Brava reached it. Gitano Lagunas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guillen Palencia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 94 minutes of play, Empuria Brava's Guillen Palencia made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gitano Lagunas was left in no man's land by his defense there! Empuria Brava's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
