Nicanor Durangos short, quick shot in the 37thth minute got Xerardo Clos to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Xerardo Clos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roberto Diez in the 38th minute of play. In the 40th minute of the match Aurre Duarte shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gonsalve Moreno showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ponc Segarra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Gonsalve Moreno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nicanor Durango sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Antxoka Belalcaraz made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Los lyses negros's goal looked a bit too open when Roberto Diez came free, but Xerardo Clos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nicanor Durango fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xerardo Clos having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Roberto Diez in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Xerardo Clos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Xerardo Clos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicanor Durango, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute.
