Quinto Vilanova made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agapito Rey in the 5th minute of play. Eleodoro Barral made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Orlan De la Torre sent off a good shot on target. After 12 played minutes Los Mangas Players got a freekick which was hit by Pericles Morado. Jerico Garcia was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 14 minutes into the match. After 14 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Los Mangas Players! After 19 played minutes Alfarnatejo got a freekick which was hit by Xuan Rossello. In the 26th minute Alfarnatejo were awarded a corner. Norino Herrera went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led to Alfarnatejo's Norino Herrera getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Alfarnatejo's Eleodoro Barral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roberto Avila in the 35th minute of play. Agapito Rey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Quinto Vilanova having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nicolás Canosa to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Alfarnatejo's goal looked a bit too open when Paco Casas came free, but Eleodoro Barral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Agapito Rey during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 61st minute, Agapito Rey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 66th minute, Alfarnatejo's Norino Herrera ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Quinto Vilanova. Quinto Vilanova yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Alfarnatejo's Eleodoro Barral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paco Casas in the 69th minute of play. Xesus Barroso scored 1-2 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Quinto Vilanova, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Los Mangas Players booed when Alfarnatejo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xuan Rossello didn't get a good kick on the ball. Quinto Vilanova made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Xesus Barroso sent off a good shot on target. In the 96th minute, Nicolás Canosa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Los Mangas Players fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
