In the 4th minute, Boi's Raúl Quijana seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Raúl Quijana the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Boi protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Raúl Quijana had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Boi fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 4th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 6 minutes, Sant Lluis UD's Locaio Nobo got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Enrique Izquierdo. Sant Lluis UD's Etxeberri Sánchez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saverio Cuervas in the 9th minute of play. In the 11th minute Saverio Cuervas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Etxeberri Sánchez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Boi's Enrique Izquierdo got control of the ball when Luciano Morera tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 20th match minute, Boi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lope Feal to maneuver through the defense. When Sant Lluis UD's Juan Novo in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Boi's goalie prevented a goal. Luciano Morera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 27 minutes into the match, Sant Lluis UD's Luciano Morera sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Enrique Izquierdo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Saverio Cuervas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Etxeberri Sánchez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anton Gómez struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Etxeberri Sánchez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Boi. In the 40th minute, Luciano Morera got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 46th minute, Juan Novo fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Enrique Izquierdo, passed just outside the right post. Luciano Morera in the 48thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Enrique Izquierdo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When Hermelando Segura fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sant Lluis UD's protests and gave Hermelando Segura a yellow card for diving instead. Hermelando Segura kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. In the 57th minute, Sant Lluis UD's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Saverio Cuervas fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Saverio Cuervas was extremely unlucky when he, in the 64th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Saverio Cuervas in the 66thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Etxeberri Sánchez, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Enrique Izquierdo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Juan Novo went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Juan Novo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Enrique Izquierdo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 95 minutes, Luciano Morera managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sant Lluis UD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luciano Morera was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Boi's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
