Aldo Sampil scored 0-1 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Xusto Perez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Firman Roman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 18 minutes into the game, Firman Roman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Yelz FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C.D. Dragones Negros the free kick. A collision led to Yelz FC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Firman Roman hit a great ball. Aldo Sampil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. C.D. Dragones Negros's Florinio Pantoja played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pelayo Hevia in the 32nd minute of play. Pelayo Hevia struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Florinio Pantoja didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Yelz FC. After a defensive mix-up in C.D. Dragones Negros's zone, Firman Roman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Florinio Pantoja came out of the goal and Firman Roman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Castulo Calderon kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. After the first half C.D. Dragones Negros were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zigor Coya to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute of the match, Zigor Coya tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Xusto Perez saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Pelayo Hevia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Florinio Pantoja tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Yelz FC booed when C.D. Dragones Negros was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Landolfo Zabalo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 61st minute Firman Roman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florinio Pantoja saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aldo Sampil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Matxin Verdeja charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Matxin Verdeja the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Yelz FC getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Matxin Verdeja hit a great ball. 68 minutes into the match, Yelz FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zigor Coya came free, but Xusto Perez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Firman Roman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Florinio Pantoja having to make a save. Pelayo Hevia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Florinio Pantoja read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. In the 77thth minute of the game Pelayo Hevia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C.D. Dragones Negros's Florinio Pantoja was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 79 minutes into the match, C.D. Dragones Negros's goal looked a bit too open when Pelayo Hevia came free, but Florinio Pantoja reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 84th match minute, Yelz FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ioseba Gonzalvez to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Aldo Sampil managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.D. Dragones Negros's supporters rose to their feet, but Aldo Sampil was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Xusto Perez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 88th minute, Castulo Calderon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zigor Coya received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Xusto Perez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 96 minutes into the match, C.D. Dragones Negros's goal looked a bit too open when Pelayo Hevia came free, but Florinio Pantoja reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. C.D. Dragones Negros's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
