But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fermín Rosario couldn't finish the play. Tito Pascua took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iraitz Gómez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Casinos CF booed when San Martin De Valdeiglesias CD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Canor Duarte didn't get a good kick on the ball. San Martin De Valdeiglesias CD's Tito Pascua played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iraitz Gómez in the 23rd minute of play. Fermín Rosario fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ismael Rico having to interfere. San Martin De Valdeiglesias CD's Jesús Talavera got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Casado Teresa hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. 36 minutes into the match, Jesús Talavera had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ismael Rico. Casinos CF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jesús Talavera was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fermín Rosario in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ismael Rico prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fermín Rosario fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ismael Rico having to interfere. With a little luck, Casinos CF's Ismael Rico got control of the ball when Jesús Talavera tried to sneak it across the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bastian Sacristán stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Casinos CF's Ismael Rico played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jesús Talavera in the 53rd minute of play. After 54 minutes, Fermín Rosario mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the San Martin De Valdeiglesias CD and the Casinos CF players grew even worse after the yellow card. A very good chance. Fermín Rosario might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ismael Rico. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fermín Rosario ran back to his position shaking his head. When the match had gone on for 79 minutes, Jesús Talavera put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Ismael Rico. Fermín Rosario fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ismael Rico having to interfere. Jesús Talavera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Ismael Rico tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. San Martin De Valdeiglesias CD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fermín Rosario was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ismael Rico showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fermín Rosario, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Canor Duarte's late challenge caught a Casinos CF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Canor Duarte helped the player get up and apologised. In the 94th minute, Canor Duarte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. San Martin De Valdeiglesias CD walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
