Eneko Macías started the match with the kick off. Gilabert Llorca charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gilabert Llorca the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Valverde De La Vera booed when Cuartillo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilabert Llorca didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Lonzo Fuster had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eneko Macías's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sergio Izaguirre read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Angel Bergada's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luke Zurica was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angel Bergada in the 32nd minute of play forced Cuartillo FC's goalkeeper Luke Zurica to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eneko Macías in the 43rd minute of play forced Valverde De La Vera's goalkeeper Sergio Izaguirre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th minute, Gilabert Llorca made a precise shot to the right of Sergio Izaguirre. Valverde De La Vera's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1.

Eneko Macías fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sergio Izaguirre having to interfere. Cuartillo FC's Luke Zurica played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lonzo Fuster in the 65th minute of play. A collision led to Valverde De La Vera getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Isidoro Aizpurua hit a great ball. In the 75th minute Lonzo Fuster shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luke Zurica saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Valverde De La Vera booed when Cuartillo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfonso Abajas didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 81st minute of the match Normando Cifuentes shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luke Zurica showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lonzo Fuster in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luke Zurica prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 95th minute, Silvino Rodriguez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eneko Macías might have been able to make a better finish in the 97th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sergio Izaguirre. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eneko Macías ran back to his position shaking his head. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
