In the 14th minute Pere Madariaga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guillen Tobias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Guillen Tobias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raymon Mala in the 17th minute of play. Pere Madariaga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Guillen Tobias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pere Madariaga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Guillen Tobias came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Real Betis's Pere Madariaga. But to his dismay, Pere Madariaga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Guillen Tobias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pere Madariaga, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Bladi Ledo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lazaro Vidal in the 28th minute. Raimundo Alcaraz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bladi Ledo having to interfere. Bladi Ledo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raimundo Alcaraz in the 33rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Raimundo Alcaraz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carrizosa CD's supporters rose to their feet, but Raimundo Alcaraz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bladi Ledo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 46th minute, Paulino Bravo made a precise shot to the right of Guillen Tobias. Carrizosa CD's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Real Betis's attack was well implemented in the 87th minute, but when Paulino Bravo was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Bladi Ledo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Raimundo Alcaraz went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-4 was the resulting score. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Real Betis eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
