Angelines Figueres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Narciso Bouzas in the 11th minute of the match. Ramond Irureta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 24 minutes into the match, Pechina's goal looked a bit too open when Baldovino Morientes came free, but Pelayo Zubizarreta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pelayo Zubizarreta didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcelino Clemente went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. The supporters of Pechina booed when Xeresa SAD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Inocencio Llorente didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 31st minute, Benvido Unzueta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Joaquin Alonso charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Joaquin Alonso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The nice shot from Marcelino Clemente in the 58thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Pelayo Zubizarreta had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. During the 62nd minute of the match Joaquin Alonso completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Joaquin Alonso a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 76th minute, Marcelino Clemente made a precise shot to the right of Pelayo Zubizarreta. Pechina's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Angelines Figueres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Narciso Bouzas in the 80th minute of play. Xeresa SAD's Angelines Figueres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Narciso Bouzas in the 83rd minute of play.
