Luis-Javier Vuelta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Renato Jorquera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Torreorgaz getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Rodolfo Cacheres hit a great ball. Torreorgaz's Eneko Calderon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lino Jauregui in the 7th minute of play. Ibon Garcia was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 10 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Torreorgaz fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 10th minute. Penalty! Eneko Calderon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arcadio Cambero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eneko Calderon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arcadio Cambero went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Rodolfo Cacheres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Renato Jorquera having to interfere. If Rodolfo Cacheres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodolfo Cacheres in the 34th minute of play forced Rentería AFC's goalkeeper Renato Jorquera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Torreorgaz's Amancio Caballero suffered a sore thigh after 35 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Remigio Naranjo's late challenge caught a Torreorgaz's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Remigio Naranjo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 37th match minute, Rentería AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Remigio Naranjo to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Anko Cazorla managed to get in a good position for a shot. Torreorgaz's supporters rose to their feet, but Anko Cazorla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Renato Jorquera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Quintin Sabina kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Renato Jorquera. That made the score 1-2 in the 39 minute of play. Renato Jorquera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luis-Javier Vuelta in the 44th minute. In the 45th minute, Quintin Sabina left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Torreorgaz fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Haroldo Gimenez was the one to do the kick off. Rentería AFC's Renato Jorquera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodolfo Cacheres in the 55th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Quintin Sabina managed to get in a good position for a shot. Torreorgaz's supporters rose to their feet, but Quintin Sabina was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Renato Jorquera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Torreorgaz's Qwinton Domingo got a free kick in the 58th minute. In the 60th minute Haroldo Gimenez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eneko Calderon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luis-Javier Vuelta shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. When Quintin Sabina came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Torreorgaz fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Quintin Sabina couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Torreorgaz's Eneko Calderon got control of the ball when Arcadio Cambero tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 74 minutes of play, Rentería AFC's Arcadio Cambero made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eneko Calderon was left in no man's land by his defense there! Renato Jorquera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodolfo Cacheres, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. After 81 played minutes Rentería AFC got a freekick which was hit by Colas Bravo. Renato Jorquera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis-Javier Vuelta in the 82nd minute of play. 83 minutes into the match, Rentería AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Luis-Javier Vuelta came free, but Renato Jorquera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Torreorgaz's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Zavier Marques in the 85th minute. The corner ended in Zavier Marques almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Rentería AFC's Renato Jorquera did a great save. Quintin Sabina struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Renato Jorquera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Torreorgaz. Rentería AFC's Renato Jorquera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis-Javier Vuelta in the 90th minute of play. 96 minutes into the game, Torreorgaz's Quintin Sabina nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Renato Jorquera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-3. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Torreorgaz players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
