Xosepe De la Torre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juanito Camara in the 5th minute of play. In the 9th minute Costante Bajo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xosepe De la Torre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antxo Sirvent got free with Bitxintxo Soto in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 18thth minute of the game Beltza Rapado who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but El Vendrell FC's Xosepe De la Torre was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. El Vendrell FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Bitxintxo Soto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eustaquio Bartumeu in the 29th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Figueruelas's zone, Reynaldo Castillo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bitxintxo Soto came out of the goal and Reynaldo Castillo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 33rd minute of the match Tonio Pedrosa shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bitxintxo Soto showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Eustaquio Bartumeu came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the El Vendrell FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eustaquio Bartumeu couldn't finish the play. Roldán Valines sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 72 minutes of play, El Vendrell FC's Antxo Sirvent made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bitxintxo Soto was left in no man's land by his defense there! Xosepe De la Torre was out of position in the 80 minute of play, and Beltza Rapado capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Beltza Rapado really showed his touch with that goal: 2-3. Xosepe De la Torre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Beltza Rapado, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Eustaquio Bartumeu struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Bitxintxo Soto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Vendrell FC. After having played for 87 minutes, Antxo Sirvent managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Vendrell FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Antxo Sirvent was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bitxintxo Soto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
