In the 6th minute Valentino De la Torre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vergaray Pedrosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Xiao Cayuela fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vergaray Pedrosa having to interfere. After having played for 9 minutes, Valentino De la Torre managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Canero's supporters crossed their fingers, but Valentino De la Torre was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 11 minutes into the match, Esquivel CF's goalkeeper Vergaray Pedrosa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Xiao Cayuela. In the 13th minute of the match, Valentino De la Torre tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Vergaray Pedrosa saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Perico Ponte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albano Darroja in the 14th minute of the match. Migúel Cañadas struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Perico Ponte didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Esquivel CF. Canero's Perico Ponte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Migúel Cañadas in the 19th minute of play. Xiao Cayuela might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vergaray Pedrosa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Xiao Cayuela ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Esquivel CF booed when Canero was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xiao Cayuela didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 26th minute, Canero's Valentino De la Torre ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Vergaray Pedrosa. Vergaray Pedrosa yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Canero's Perico Ponte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Migúel Cañadas in the 29th minute of play. In the 30th minute, Albano Darroja made a precise shot to the right of Perico Ponte. Canero's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. 34 minutes into the match, Esquivel CF's goalkeeper Vergaray Pedrosa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Xiao Cayuela. Xiao Cayuela sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Migúel Cañadas was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Esquivel CF's Albano Darroja got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Canero's Valentino De la Torre got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Xiao Cayuela received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Vergaray Pedrosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Esquivel CF's Vergaray Pedrosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valentino De la Torre in the 60th minute of play. Delmar Reina kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Curro Torres didn't quite understand what happened when in the 63 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Perico Ponte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Migúel Cañadas in the 65th minute of play. Perico Ponte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Migúel Cañadas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Xiao Cayuela sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 76 minutes into the game, Migúel Cañadas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Esquivel CF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Canero the free kick. The supporters of Canero booed when Esquivel CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Migúel Cañadas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Xiao Cayuela took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vergaray Pedrosa. Vergaray Pedrosa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Valentino De la Torre recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xiao Cayuela in the 88th minute of play forced Esquivel CF's goalkeeper Vergaray Pedrosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vergaray Pedrosa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Xiao Cayuela went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Vergaray Pedrosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Demetrio Bajo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Canero fully deserved thier win.
