Cuevas SD's Romualdo Rienda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aristides Treviño in the 2nd minute of play. Americo Darroja recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 24 minutes, Roberto Torrent managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cuevas SD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roberto Torrent was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 28 minutes into the game, Martín Mendez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Seno's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cuevas SD the free kick. In the 29th minute, Martín Mendez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Maule Bastida showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roberto Torrent, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. The supporters of Cuevas SD booed when Seno was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tulio March didn't get a good kick on the ball. 36 minutes into the game, Aristides Treviño cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Romualdo Rienda was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Romualdo Rienda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aristides Treviño in the 43rd minute of the match. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aristides Treviño was the one to do the kick off. After 63 played minutes, Seno's Julen Suarez shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Romualdo Rienda came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Seno reached it. A hard shot 65 in the game by Americo Darroja from a close distance when the talented Romualdo Rienda managed to make a qualified save. Cuevas SD's players were relieved. 72 minutes into the match, Seno's goal looked a bit too open when Roberto Torrent came free, but Maule Bastida reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cuevas SD's Roberto Torrent got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Maule Bastida made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erlantz Carrasco in the 75th minute of play. In the 78th match minute, Seno was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aristides Treviño to maneuver through the defense. In the 80th minute of the match, Americo Darroja got a very nice opportunity to score, but Romualdo Rienda was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Through an outstanding action, after 82 minutes, Romualdo Rienda successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Americo Darroja sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 87th minute, Tulio March hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Romualdo Rienda was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Aristides Treviño showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 94 minute of play. The Cuevas SD supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Seno's performance. The match ended with a win for Seno.
