Cucao Alcantara was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Edgardo Obis struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Cucao Alcantara didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cabezas Rubias CD. Alexandro Pareja was slow to take the kick. During this time Soberano's players had a chance to rest. Urtzi Carro hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Epicuro Bacete received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Cucao Alcantara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Timoteo Guasch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Echeto having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaac Barrios in the 46th minute of play forced Cabezas Rubias CD's goalkeeper Juan Echeto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Diego Vicente got free with Juan Echeto in the 49th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

Juan Echeto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Milian Ramos, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Cucao Alcantara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Epicuro Bacete in the 60th minute of play. Isaac Barrios sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cabezas Rubias CD's Juan Echeto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Milian Ramos in the 63rd minute of play. Isaac Barrios fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Echeto having to interfere. In the 67th minute, Soberano's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Edgardo Obis fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 68th minute of the match Milian Guasch shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cucao Alcantara showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Milian Ramos in the 70th minute of play forced Cabezas Rubias CD's goalkeeper Juan Echeto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, Isaac Barrios put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Juan Echeto. Juan Echeto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isaac Barrios in the 75th minute of play. When Amadeo Cabrera came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Soberano fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amadeo Cabrera couldn't finish the play. Juan Echeto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amadeo Cabrera, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. In the 92nd minute, Edgardo Obis made a precise shot to the right of Cucao Alcantara. Soberano's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. If Edgardo Obis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 97 played minutes Soberano got a freekick which was hit by Diego Vicente. Cabezas Rubias CD were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Soberano's much stronger midfield.
